Congregational Life
The Congregational Life Committee encourages involvement and participation by all members of the congregation in the life of the church by planning and carrying out programs for fellowship and fun. View the calendar for all up-coming events. (Fred Neely)
Stewardship & Personnel
The Stewardship and Personnel Committee has responsibility for raising funds to support and carry out the church program, budgets and manages the funds that are raised to ensure fiscal responsibility, encourages extra giving to special funds and endowments, and invests and manages these monies wisely to cover current and future needs. This committee also oversees the staff and all administrative activities and develops and implements personnel policies. (Kelly Adair)
Worship
The Worship Committee works closely with the pastor to enhance the worship life and spiritual growth of the congregation through word and song. This committee also coordinates the ushers, lay readers and floral arrangements for the Sunday services. (Mondie Cunningham)
Mission
The Mission Committee coordinates all mission-related activities and expands the congregation’s knowledge of mission, ministry and outreach to the community and the world. (Celia Elmes)
Christian Education
The Christian Education Committee plans, develops and carries out programs for all segments of the congregation to enable members of all ages to grow in their personal faith and in their understanding of the word of God. (S. Durbin Wagner)
Outreach
The Outreach Committee coordinates efforts to care for the needs of the members of the congregation through the food chain, the prayer chain and responding to various needs as they occur. (Bob O’Toole)
